My First Few Weeks at QEMS
A couple of days before I started QEMS I was nervous because I did not know what the school and the people in it were going to be like. Another reason was that only a few people came from my primary school . On my first proper day there I found that the lessons went okay. My teachers and friends were nice and everyone I met was friendly. The food was delicious and I knew I was going to enjoy being at school because everyone made me feel welcome and I fitted in almost instantly.
Even though I really enjoyed school I found that the days seemed longer. Soon though it started to get better and lessons went quicker, the clock ticked faster and I was enjoying school to the full. I soon got involved in lots of activities in and after school time. I’ve taken part in rugby after school, and the Olivia show with Mr Eno which was a great success because it gave me a chance to shine and show off! I also got involved in junior brass, jazz band and having lessons for my trombone. I am now getting along fine at school and am enjoying all my lessons especially P.E and D.T. I also like getting R3’s and postcards because then my mum and dad give me extra pocket money! Life at school is great and my first term at QEMs is going really well.
