The Science department at QEMS has 7 well resourced laboratories. At Key Stage 3 students are taught a wide range of topics, from electricity to cells, from light to various chemical reactions. In Key Stage 4 students adopt a choice that is tailored to their future plans. Students can opt for GCSE Double award, GCSE Triple award or BTEC Applied Science.

Students develop their practical skills as well as the theoretical knowledge and research skills.
