Business involves looking at how the Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and Production departments work together to meet a firm’s aims and objectives. Coca-cola once stated that it wanted Coke to be “more popular than water” – what did they do to try and achieve this aim?
We also look at the impact the rest of the world has on a business. We answer questions such as “How has technology affected businesses?”, “Why does Nigeria have the poorest people in the world when it has so much oil to sell?”
QEMS Business department aims to teach you through the news. We plan lessons using the most up-to-date business information, cases and websites and love to give you problems to solve. We also spend alot of time preparing you for your exams and can promise that you will leave our department better able to ask questions and arrive to conclusions about case studies!
