 Introduction from Headteacher:

QEMS is an 11-18 comprehensive school situated to the north of Tamworth. There are over 1000 pupils on roll with over 120 in years 12 and 13.

The school is set on a large and pleasant campus with a number of separate buildings, departments are based in their own suites in one or other of the buildings.

At QEMS we aim to provide the highest quality of teaching and learning. We encourage high standards of work and effort. Also we place great emphasis on recognising pupils' achievements and success in all aspects of school life.

We want each child at QEMS to enjoy being a pupil of the school and to feel secure in a happy, caring and purposeful environment where every pupil is valued and can develop and learn.

We believe that success at school is based on an effective partnership between pupils, teachers and parents working together to achieve high standards.

The school has a strong and successful reputation in the area. We are working to maintain and build upon our past success so as to ensure high achievements for all our pupils in the future.
